Helps Me Take Me Less Seriously And God More Seriously

I have a calendar that has a different quote from a saint each day. This quote makes me laugh at how hard I work to fix things myself and reminds me how silly I am trying to do alone what God and I can do together with ease:

The man who doesn't pray is like a chicken or a turkey, which can't rise into the air. they may fly a little, but they soon have to come down.... The man who prays, on the other hand, is like a fearless eagle, and seems to always to want to get closer to the sun.
