Jesus Messages Ask
For Your Conversion And Repentance
"For the gifts and the calling of God are without repentance"
-Romans 11:29
Jesus messages help you prepare your soil for the seeds of faith to take root
and blossom into a more tranquil form of life.
While Jesus was on earth, He went about proclaiming the kingdom of God by His
examples and works and by His teachings.
Jesus messages or parables ask over and over again for conversion and repentance.
These parables have many dimensions and meanings.
Jesus used them to teach and you should study them in order to grow more in your
spiritual life and to find more peace and serenity in your everyday dealings.
Below you will find just a few of the more famous of Jesus messages.
-
"And there was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.
This man came to Jesus by night, and said to him: Rabbi, we know that thou
art come a teacher from God; for no man can do these signs which thou dost,
unless God be with him. Jesus answered, and said to him: Amen, amen I say to
thee, unless a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus
saith to him: How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter a second time
into his mother's womb, and be born again? Jesus answered: Amen, amen I say to
thee, unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter
into the kingdom of God." -John 3:1-5
Jesus message here is not speaking of a physical body being born again but rather the soul.
You must convert your heart to God in order to receive His grace and truly see
clearly for the first time.
It's like climbing a mountain the higher you get the more you see.
Keep trying to reach for the higher things, converting your heart to God.
But it is not enough to simply convert your heart and have a rebirth of your soul,
you must "be born again of water and the Holy Ghost."
This is a physical event that needs to take place with form and matter.
Form being the words of baptism and matter being the pouring of water over the
head of the person to be baptized.
Jesus messages here is that He established a visible church accompanied by a
sacramental system.
You can find this Church and it's sacraments in one place, the Holy Catholic Church.
-
"But Jesus, calling them together, said: Suffer children to come to me,
and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Amen, I say to you:
Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a child, shall not enter
into it. And a certain ruler asked him, saying: Good master, what shall I do
to possess everlasting life? And Jesus said to him: Why dost thou call me good?
None is good but God alone. Thou knowest the commandments: Thou shalt not kill:
Thou shalt not commit adultery: Thou shalt not steal: Thou shalt not bear false
witness: Honour thy father and mother.
-
Who said: All these things have I kept from my youth. Which when Jesus had heard,
he said to him: Yet one thing is wanting to thee: sell all whatever thou hast,
and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow
me. He having heard these things, became sorrowful; for he was very rich. And
Jesus seeing him become sorrowful, said: How hardly shall they that have riches
enter into the kingdom of God. For it is easier for a camel to pass through
the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
-
And they that heard it, said: Who then can be saved? He said to them: The things
that are impossible with men, are possible with God. Then Peter said: Behold,
we have left all things, and have followed thee. Who said to them: Amen, I say
to you, there is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife,
or children, for the kingdom of God's sake, Who shall not receive much more in
this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting." -Luke 18:16-30
This parable is one of Jesus messages where He is saying that it is necessary to imitate Him and take up your cross if you want to make it to Heaven.
During your life, there will be times when nothing seems to be going right.
You may feel lonely, nervous, confused, scared or worried. Jesus wants you to
know that there is hope.
Keep persevering. Carry your cross.
It has been given to you to sanctify you. If you embrace it and imitate Jesus
you will be rewarded with the eternal happiness of Heaven and all your suffering
will disappear.
At other times in your life you will be at peace and not need or want for anything.
At these times, you should help others.
Jesus told the rich man "sell all whatever thou hast, and give to the poor,
and thou shalt have treasure in heaven."
You are called to help those who are lonely, instruct those who are confused
and comfort those who are scared or worried.
The most important thing to remember is that you must imitate Jesus and Mary
so that someday you will join them in Heaven.
The best way to familiarize yourself with their lives is by praying the Rosary.
-
"And he said to them: To you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom
of God: but to them that are without, all things are done in parables: That
seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand:
lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven
them. And he saith to them: Are you ignorant of this parable? and how shall you
know all parables? He that soweth, soweth the word. And these are they by the
way side, where the word is sown, and as soon as they have heard, immediately
Satan cometh and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.
-
And these likewise are they that are sown on the stony ground: who when they
have heard the word, immediately receive it with joy. And they have no root in
themselves, but are only for a time: and then when tribulation and persecution
ariseth for the word they are presently scandalized. And others there are who
are sown among thorns: these are they that hear the word, And the cares of the
world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts after other things entering
in choke the word, and it is made fruitless. And these are they who are sown upon
the good ground, who hear the word, and receive it, and yield fruit, the one
thirty, another sixty, and another a hundred." -Mark 4:11-20
In this parable the seeds that are scattered on good soul grow and thrive,
while the seeds that went by the wayside or were planted in weedy and rocky
soil did not grow. The type of soil you are depends on your willingness
to accept Jesus messages.
The same Gospel goes on to say:
-
"And he said: To what shall we liken the kingdom of God? or to what parable
shall we compare it?
It is as a grain of mustard seed: which when it is sown in the earth, is less
than all the seeds that are in the earth: And when it is sown, it groweth up,
and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches, so that
the birds of the air may dwell under the shadow thereof." -Mark 4:30-32
-
And he said: So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the earth,
And should sleep, and rise, night and day, and the seed should spring, and grow
up whilst he knoweth not. For the earth of itself bringeth forth fruit, first
the blade, then the ear, afterwards the full corn in the ear. And when the fruit
is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is
come. And he said: To what shall we liken the kingdom of God? or to what parable
shall we compare it?
-
It is as a grain of mustard seed: which when it is sown in the earth, is less
than all the seeds that are in the earth: And when it is sown, it groweth up,
and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches, so that
the birds of the air may dwell under the shadow thereof. And with many such
parables, he spoke to them the word, according as they were able to hear." -Mark 4:11-33

Solutions To Spread
The Good News
"Going therefore, teach ye all nations;
baptizing them in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."
-Matthew 28:19
In Jesus messages, the fruit of this mystery is repentance and trust in God. If you are not in the habit of receiving the sacrament of Penance please start making use of frequent confessions.
Penance has many spiritual effects including...
-
Receiving sanctifying grace and actual grace that will help you avoid sin in the future
-
The forgiveness of your sins and the remission of just punishment due for your sins
Confession is also a good time to receive spiritual advice and instruction from
your confessor. Pray for your priest confessor.
Pray especially through the intercession of Saint John Marie Vianney, the Patron Saint
of priests that your confessor will be sent many graces to help him in his work of
leading his flock to God.
Besides repentance and trust in God this mystery calls you to spread the message of the Gospels.
When thinking of Jesus Messages in Proclaiming the Kingdom of God and of the many
parables of Jesus, it's a good time to ask yourself these two questions...
-
Who has sown the seeds of faith in my life? How were these seeds able to take root?
-
How do I sow the seeds of faith in the lives of those my path crosses with?
One sure fire way to sow these seeds is by promoting the Rosary.
Mary has attached a special promise to those who do so.
She promised to "aid in all their necessities" in the 12th promise.
If you could benefit from Mary's aid in all your needs, and I'm sure we all would like
her help, please teach others this powerful prayer.
It is the prayer of the Gospels and is the surest way to teach anyone the faith.
Give them a rosary, teach them the prayers, and by all means, tell them about this site.
The Bible passages of Jesus Messages were taken from the timeless
Douay Rheims Catholic Bible
If you are looking for a more modern language version of Jesus Messages, our recommendation would be the

Let us pray
Almighty and everlasting God, look upon the Heart of Thy well-beloved Son and upon the acts of praise and satisfaction which He renders unto Thee in the name of sinners; and do Thou, in Thy great goodness, grant pardon to them who seek Thy mercy, in the name of the same Thy Son, Jesus Christ, Who liveth and reigneth with Thee, world without end. Amen.
