My son is now 20 years old. He has been raised in the Catholic Church all his life and has received all of the Sacraments. He had always been a devout Catholic, went to church every Sunday and wasn't afraid to stand up for God to anyone. After he entered into a relationship with a fallen-away Catholic girl, he stopped going to church. At first I thought it was just because she didn't go to church. But after talking to him about it he said that her brother made him reconsider everything that he'd be taught and believed. Now he says he doesn't know if he believes... He's trying to find a scientific answer for everything.

This broke my heart and causes me great pain and sorrow. I turned to praying the Rosary daily. Each day I ask for Mary's divine intercession for me as I pray for him in this matter. My Rosary beads are blue and all of the metal was silver. I have been praying the Rosary every day since September--so just over 6 months now. Last month while praying the Rosary the chain caught my eye because it didn't appear to be silver. As I looked at it more closely I realized that the chain was now gold in color. I know this is a frequent miracle that occurs in Medjugorje where Rosaries turn to gold.

Since I started praying the Rosary I have experienced many miracles and my spiritual life has truly blossomed. I was already "spiritual" before this, but now it's incredible. Praying the Rosary can't help but bring you close to our Lord and his incredible Mother Mary.

I hope my story inspires someone. Pray with me for my son and for the conversion of my husband who has never gone to church, has never been baptized, and doesn't even know if he believes in the Bible... He says he doesn't disbelieve, but he just doesn't know yet what he believes.

Since visiting Medjugorje in 1989 i have had 3 rosaries whose silver alloy links have changed from silver color to gold. I do not know what the golden color is actually for I have not had them verified at a jeweler.

In any event, as if that is not glorious enough, not long ago I reached for my rosary and within a split second before I had actually touched the beads, a filament about one inch long blazed and made a sizzling sound so much so that I jumped and looked around me thinking somehow there had to be electricity involved. But of course there was none.

I have been aware of rosary phenomena and the sun spinning at Medjugorje but have not heard of a spontaneous electrical current that exhibited a brilliant red thread- like filament and even exuded a sound like a spark. I was stunned.

I have also experienced speckles of gold form on my arm when I held a special hand carved wooden statue of our Blessed Mother in my arms at a religious retreat. It looked like golden glitter all along my arm.

Isn't that a remarkable affirming gesture from our Mother!!!!

My rosary chain was not silver, but just silver in color and my chain turned to gold on Easter! I was wondering why just the chain and then I read that it will be through the chain of prayers on the rosary she will be able to help us .

Many years ago, a dear friend of mine took me privately aside and said she wanted to show me something. She took out her rosary and placed it in my hand. It looked as if about half of the metal links were of silver color and the rest were gold. I couldn't believe my eyes as I literally watched link by link turning from silver to gold. In my hand!

She was very devoted to the rosary and Our Lady. I will never forget her and the incredible miracle she invited me to observe.

Years later, on hearing the devastating news of the 9/11 attacks, I instinctively grabbed my rosary and clutched it all morning watching the terror unfold. When I finally opened my hand, I couldn't believe every link of this simple black rosary had turned from silver to gold.

Later that same morning, as I pulled into a parking lot and pulled out of my car, a small diamond head snake fell onto the back of my hand. I am normally terrified of snakes but was so stunned, I just flipped my hand over. It lay there on the ground and I do not exaggerate to say I saw its evil eyes looking up into my own.

I don't know why the Lord showed me the miracles of the rosaries, except they do remind me that we believe in "the seen and unseen". This has helped me enormously since I later went to graduate school and became a hospice chaplain.

In moments of keeping vigil with the dying, the memories of these miracles and others helped me to keep my faith and after twenty years of seeing so much suffering, often my sanity. The Lord be praised.

I have a silver chain which turned from silver to gold for no reason. When I asked a jeweler about it, he said it may have turned into gold color because of some reaction with perfume or something...so there may be a scientific reason behind it.

My rosary's silver link turned to golden hue on the eve of Christmas while on Church. I am praying the 54 days rosary novena at that time. I am blessed with so many things that words can't even express it.
Continue your love and devotion to the Blessed Mother. She's our only link to God. Her prayers for us is very powerful!

This is happened to alot of people.My rosary also turned gold.Many blessings are coming from GOD to show us he is real.Think Fatama and all the warnings the Mother of GOD has bestowed on us.I will pray for you your son and husband my GOD bless you.

I have to say I have experienced this myself with my Rosary, It truly is a blessing. nobody can make silver turn to gold just by rubbing it, Don't listen to those people who say things like that. Just keep praying.

You may also want to examine your rosary as some people have and to their surprice the silver had not been just been turnished but actually gold plated.

Dear writer, I do believe that the rosary is a treasure itself for the salvation of souls. I myself have turned to a daily prayer during this advent of both the Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Devine Chaplet. Regarding the color of the metal chains in your rosary; I think sterling silver turns to yellowish tones due to its contact with oxygen in a process called oxidization. It may also be due to the acidity of your own body (because our sweet transpires some acidity among other components). This does not take away the merits of your prayers and the Rosary when they are made with deep faith.

Hello,
I definitely understand your sorrow. For a long time I "needed proof" of everything... I realized that proof has nothing to do with faith and if try and prove anything, you extinguish faith. A great line from the life of St. Bernadette is, "For those with faith, proof is not necessary, for those without faith, proof is impossible!" People with scientific backgrounds just don't understand that... I will pray for your son. God bless.
