Shines Light On All Rosary Mysteries
"Again therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying:
I am the light of the world: he that followeth me,
walketh not in darkness,
but shall have the light of life."
-John 8:12
Since Pope John Paul II gave us the scriptural Luminous Mysteries, in has been quite
clear that these mysteries shine light on the Joyful, Sorrowful, and Glorious Mysteries.
- They illuminate the significance of the joys of Jesus' childhood.
- They conclude with the institution of the Eucharist which
is the sacramental
act in which the Sorrowful Mysteries commemorate.
- And are a preview of the glorious events to come that you meditate
upon in the Glorious Mysteries.
These Scriptural Mysteries are a gift to the Church and should be embraced and used to
internalize the life of Jesus in your life and to help you attain serenity in your
daily dealings.
